This circuit will take you south through traditional Mexico but also the pre-Columbian regions for 12 days starting in Mexico City and ending in Cancun. The baroque architecture of Puebla, discovering the pre-Hispanic civilizations, notably the archaeological zone of Monte Albán in Oaxaca and the Mayan sites of Palenque in Chiapas, Uxmal, and Chichén Itzá in Yucatan!

Meet and greet at the Mexico City airport and transportation to the hotel.
Visit Teotihuacan, the Plaza de las Tres Culturas and The Basilica of Guadalupe.
Visit the Museum of Anthropology, route to Xochimilco, return to downtown, and visit the Zocalo (main square), the Cathedral, and the National Palace.
On the way to Oaxaca, we will visit the City of Puebla, a site on which the Battle of 5 de Mayo stands out. Continue to Oaxaca.
Visit Monte Albán one of the most surprising pre-Columbian archaeological sites in Oaxaca and walk through the historic center of the city.
Visit Mitla famous for its constructions with geometric style.
Road to Tuxtla Gutiérrez and appreciate the beauty of ever-changing landscapes of vegetation.
Boat ride tours through the Sumidero Canyon, one of the most impressive canyons in the world.
Visit of San Juan Chamula and Zinacantán villages.
Departure to Palenque, on the road we can admire the Agua Azul Waterfalls.
Visit the famous archaeological zone of Palenque. Road to Campeche, a colonial jewel with its cobbled streets, its churches, and houses of different colors but especially its walls.
Departure to Uxmal and visit the archaeological zone. Continuing our tour to Merida. Rest of the afternoon take a walk through the city center.
Road to Cancun, on the way we will visit the Mayan archaeological site of Chichén Itzá.
Possibility of an extension in Cancun.
Transfer out to the airport.
