WHAT IS THE MAYAN WORLD CIRCUIT?
The most complete and representative tour of the Mayan area from the plains of Yucatan to the Mountains of Chiapas. We will visit the indigenous towns and colonial cities of Valladolid, Merida and Campeche, the ancient Mayan cities of Chichen Itza, Uxmal, Palenque and Calakmul, as well as natural beauties such as cenotes, the tropical jungle of Chiapas with its waterfalls and lakes, continuing to Bacalar lagoon with its 7 colors to the fine white sand beaches of Playa del Carmen and the turquoise blue sea of Cancun.

Meet and greet at the Cancun international airport and transportation to the hotel.

Day 2: Cancun / Chichén Itzá / MeridaTexto del botón Elemento de la lista 2
Visit Chichén Itzá, one of the New 7 Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Swim in the fresh clear waters of a Mayan cenote and take a walk through the colonial center of Merida.

Visit the archaeological site of Uxmal and continue to the city of Campeche. Short visit to the Mayan community of Santa Elena.

Day 4: Campeche / PalenqueTexto del botón Elemento de la lista 4
Campeche was built on an old Mayan fishing village by the year 1540, between walls and forts that served as protection to the pirates. Recently declared World Heritage by UNESCO. Continue along the coast from the Gulf of Mexico to Palenque.

Day 5: Palenque / Agua Azul Waterfalls / PalenqueItem Link
In the morning, visit of famous archaeological site of Palenque where the temples are raised on small hills surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. Time to relax and admire the Agua Azul Waterfalls nestled in the tropical jungle of Chiapas.

Day 6: Palenque / Silvituc Noh Lagoon / ChicannáItem Link
Road to Silvituc Noh lagoon, the nesting site of various migratory species, such as herons, ducks, toucans, and cormorants. Night at Chicanná.

Day 7: Chicanná / Calakmul / BacalarItem Link
Early departure to visit the biosphere of Calakmul with more than 7500 km2 being the largest natural reserve in Mexico declared World Heritage by UNESCO. Visit also the archaeological site of Calakmul.

Day 8: Bacalar / Playa del CarmenItem Link
Enjoy the beautiful Bacalar Lagoon of the Seven Colors. The breathtaking Cenote Azul with a depth of 60 meters. Continue to Playa del Carmen on the edge of the Caribbean Sea with white sand beaches, a true paradise for divers.
